Friends of the E. L. Johnson Nature Center
The E. L. Johnson Nature Center offers
35 acres of natural beauty in
Bloomfield
Township.  It is the only natural area open
to the public in the Township.  Owned by
the Bloomfield Hills School District, the
Nature Center is also an integral part of
the curriculum for grades 1-8.
The Nature Center is open to the public 7
days a week.  Hike the trails, listen to the
birds, visit the deer, enjoy the solitude
and come away refreshed. In 2006 a large
Visitors Center was completed and is open
weekends and some weekdays.
The Center's
website has more info.
